Saxophonist Robert Young brings Coltrane’s influence to bear in a recent concerto by Guillaume Connesson. Gershwin’s <em>Porgy and Bess</em> and Rachmaninoff’s fiery <em>Symphonic Dances</em>, two of the rare orchestral pieces that include saxophone, round out this program.</p>\n
