Good Grief Gala: Dîner en Blanc
Sacramento, CA
2330 Fair Oaks Blvd.
Sacramento, CA
This evening of connection, storytelling, and reflection creates a safe, stigma-free space for professionals to process secondary and accumulated grief, share experiences, and strengthen bonds within their community. By addressing the often-unmet emotional toll faced by caregivers, healthcare workers, and first/last responders, the gala supports mental health resilience, workforce retention, and overall community well-being by honoring those who form the backbone of Sacramento’s service community. We believe that when people have the opportunity to connect with others who understand their work, they’re more likely to reach out for support rather than holding those experiences in isolation. Through this event, attendees will be connected to free grief resources across Greater Sacramento and provided three months of 24/7 grief support with licensed counselors following our event. Meet our Keynote Speaker: Audrey Schoen Audrey Schoen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and certified Relational Life Therapist based in Roseville. For over ten years, she’s worked with individuals and couples carrying the weight of high-stress, high-stakes lives, including first responders and the relationships that hold them up. Certified in Brainspotting and Accelerated Resolution Therapy, she specializes in helping people process what doesn’t fit neatly into words. Her approach is grounded, direct, and built for people who don’t have the luxury of falling apart.
