Summer of Sound Youth Music Production Camp is a free, week-long music production camp presented by Department of Sound in partnership with the NBA Foundation and 916 Ink. Taking place August 3–7 from 10:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. at The Imaginarium, the camp is open to youth ages 13–17 and features hands-on production workshops, lyric writing sessions, special guest speakers from the music industry, and free lunch each day. Participants will learn how to create their own beats and will have the opportunity to release their music on SUMMEROFSOUND Vol. 1, culminating in a celebratory listening party to showcase their work.
